After years of following GoodGoodGood Co. and the Goodnewspaper, they reached out to me to create the centerfold artwork for this year's July (2023) issue! This was the Animals Issue, and I worked with Johnathan, GoodGoodGood's art director, to come up with 3 initial sketches that reflected the issue theme in a subtle way and included a Xiye Bastida quote. We both agreed on pushing forward with one of the options (below), and seeing the final artwork in print this summer was absolutely incredible!
